Why is Tony Scheffler not longer the starting TE of the Denver Broncos?

I heard this and not sure if it’s true. Please, confirm whether this is true and if it is. Why?.

Scheffler is a solid option at TE, and denver doesn’t really have anyone but Marshall (who’s even suspended) to throw to.
