Denver Broncos Tickets – Draft Analysis

Brent Warnken asked:

Denver Broncos tickets will always be popular in Colorado, but sometimes there is an event in the offseason that changes everything. A player could be traded or acquired in free agency at any time, but you can always count on the NFL Draft to get fans pumped about seeing Broncos games next season. So who did the Broncos pick up in the recent Draft? Did they get a player who can help the weak areas on the team from last year? Or will the rookies be able to make a good part of the team even better? Let’s go over how the new guys will help the stats. Then, when all is said and done, start getting pumped about buying Denver Broncos tickets.

The Broncos went after offensive linemen in the early part of the draft, which is a little odd, considering that they did so well passing the ball last season. On offense, Jay Cutler, the 24-year old rising star, was on his game. He threw for 3,497 yards, 20 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. While rushing the ball was not the full focus of the Denver offense, as some might think, Jay was doing well enough that they might have wanted to up his attempts from 496 to well into the 530s, making the Broncos one of the more passing-oriented teams in the league. Why wouldn’t they want to air it out– Especially if Selvin Young and Travis Henry can get going early in a game? Henry rushed the ball 167 times and Young 140, so you can see that they split the backfield time up pretty well. At the end of the season, the two of them combined for 1,420 out of the 1,957 yards the Broncos gained rushing the ball. The team total ranked ninth out of the 32 NFL teams. Basically, we can see that the Broncos had a good thing going on offense even before they took an OT in the first round. For the 12th overall pick, Denver took Boise St.’s Ryan Clay. Because of the kind of offensive line scheme that the Broncos like to run, Clay works well, even though there were some higher-ranked players ahead of him if the Broncs were really looking for the guy with the best shot at playing right away. That said, the Broncos insured that their O-line would be sustained even if some of the older guys go down next season, or the one after that. You can expect to see a slightly more efficient offense, and that’ never a bad thing.

In the second round the Broncos took wideout Eddie Royal from VT. While Cutler already has some nice WRs to throw to, what’s the problem with adding one more? Royal is small, but he’s royally fast when he can get out in the open. You might look for him going deep when the Broncs get into a four-wide set on third and long. Hopefully that situation doesn’t happen too often for the games that you’ve already purchased Denver Broncos tickets.

Bronco Football With Denver Broncos Tickets

Al Terry asked:

Ask any football fan what Denver Broncos tickets mean and they will tell you that they are tickets to see one of the most elite teams in the NFL play on the field today. The story of the Broncos is truly one of an underdog that nobody thought would make it. The Broncos were also a team that seemed to always be on the losing side, not just for a few years but for 13 long years. Today, the Broncos are where they deserve to be, right on top and one of the strongest teams in the NFL.

The Denver Broncos are part of the AFC West and the American Football Conference under the National Football League. The team plays its home games at the INVESCO Field at Mile High and has won 2 Super Bowl Championships, 6 Conference Championships and 10 Division Championships.
The Team That Almost Never Was

The Denver Broncos are a team that had very humble beginnings. Started in 1960, the team came close to folding in 1965 when they almost lost their franchise. Very few fans even bothered to buy Denver Broncos tickets because the team just didn’t seem to have that spark. But even from the beginning, if there was one quality that the Broncos had it was drive. For nearly 13 years, the Broncos were pretty much associated with the bottom of the barrel but they plodded on. Finally in 1973, things began to change for the better.

The going was tough but there was a definite improvement in the Broncos’ performance on the field and Denver Broncos tickets began to get more popular. A number of star players joined the team ranks like Craig Morton and John Elway and in 1977 the unimaginable happened. The Denver Broncos, a bottom of the barrel team, made it to the Super Bowl playoffs.

The Rise of a Star

There was now no turning back for the Broncos. With Denver Broncos ticket sales rising and fans clamoring for more great football, the pressure was definitely on. But the Broncos were more than ready. After all, they had spent nearly 13 years at the bottom of the pile and they weren’t about to let their opportunities slide this time.

The Broncos posted back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998. They also brought home a number of Division and Conference titles during the nineties and continue to be a force to reckon with in the new millennium. The Broncos are now one the NFL elite teams but they are a team that has certainly come up the hard way. This is why they continue to play with the same grit and determination that took them to the top in the first place.

Unfortunately, 2007 has been a hard year for the Denver Broncos. The team had to deal with the deaths of two of their players, one who was shot in his limo and the other who collapsed and died after a game. Despite their loss, the Broncos are still putting up a strong fight on the field. For real football enthusiasts who want to see the game played at its best, Denver Broncos tickets are the best way to go. You can even save yourself a lot of hassles by ordering your tickets online through an authorized ticket vendor.

Denver Broncos Tickets- Whirlwind Win Brings Elation, Injuries

Julie Cudney asked:

Before the Denver Bronco’s week 10 game against the Cleveland Browns kicked off, analysts from Mike Ditka to Chris Mortensen were picking the 3-5 Browns to overcome the 4-4 Broncos. In the third quarter, it looked like the Broncos were proving them right, only to have a massive rally in the fourth quarter to take the game 34-30 in the final minutes. Toppling the Browns came as the first win for the Broncos since their 26-13 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during week five. Just one week before, they found themselves with a 26-17 loss to the surprising Miami Dolphins. The win did come at a cost, however, as running back Ryan Torain and Selvin Young both suffered injuries during the second quarter of the match.

The game was supposed to be a big one for the Browns’ quarterback Brady Quinn, who had just won the starting position from Derek Anderson on the Monday prior the Thursday game. Ironically, it was Broncos’ quarterback Jay Cutler who ended up being the star of the show. Cutler was 24 of 42 on the night for 447 yards, three touchdowns, one interception and a passer rating of 107.9. Cutler’s performance is even more impressive considering his stats for the past few games. During the team’s 41-7 loss to the New England Patriots during week seven, he was 17 of 26 for one touchdown, two interceptions and a rating of 64.3. Week nine against the Dolphins was worse as he was 24 of 46 with two touchdowns, three interceptions and a rating of 60.7. For his starting debut, Quinn didn’t fare too poorly either. He was 23 of 25 for 239 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and a passer rating of 104.3.

It was Cutler’s extra yardage that made the biggest difference, consider that the Browns out-ran the Broncos. The game started out with a touchdown by the Broncos off of a one-yard run by Ryan Torain. Quinn answered back later in the first quarter with a five yard touchdown pass to Kellen Winslow. After Phil Dawson added a field goal for the Browns, Winslow and Quinn connected for another touchdown. Matt Prater nailed a field goal for the Broncos before Dawson had another for the Browns to round out the first half. Dawson also started out the scoring in the second half with another field goal, putting the Browns up 23-10. Prater added another before the last half kicked off. Cutler came out with a fury in the fourth quarter, starting with a 93-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Royal, the Broncos longest since 1981. He connected with Daniel Graham soon after to give his team a 27-23 lead. The Browns weren’t giving up easily, however, and took back the lead with a one-yard touchdown run by Jamal Lewis. Brandon Marshall took an 11-yard pass from Cutler to score the final touchdown and give the Broncos a much-needed win.

On the downside, the injuries to Torain, a rookie, and Young were not the only problems for the Broncos at that position. Both first string running back Michael Pittman and second string Andre Hall are already out for the season. This meant that rookie Peyton Hillis is the only running back. If either gets placed on IR, it could mean that Cutler needs to have more games like the one against the Browns. Denver Broncos Tickets- Torain Gets Shot to Star

Julie Cudney asked:

While the injuries to running backs Michael Pittman and Andre Hall are a big loss for the Denver Broncos, it also means that the Broncos get to see more of rookie running back Ryan Torain. Both Pittman and Hall were placed on injured reserve after week nine’s game against the Miami Dolphins, in which the Dolphins won 26-17. Pittman was already coming off injuries to his back and his ribs from the New England game two weeks prior, and he injured his neck during the second half to take him out for the rest of the season. Hall injured his left hand not long after, leaving the Denver running back position incredibly shallow. Along with Torain, the Broncos have Selvin Young at running back, although Young has been out because of a groin injury. The injuries meant that the Broncos only had 14 yards of rushing offense, their lowest in 36 years. Love Torain and ready to see him play? Get your Bronco tickets for all the upcoming action!

Ryan Torain was selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft from Arizona State. While at Arizona State, Torain averaged 93.8 rushing yards per game. He also tallied 1,229 season rushing yards in 2006. Torain has been out for the first few games of the season because of an injured elbow, which happened during training camp. The game against the Dolphins marked his NFL debut, and Torain had three attempts. He will be playing behind Young. Young has been with the Broncos since they signed him as a rookie free agent in 2007. Last season, Young played in all but one game and had 729 rushing yards. He hasn’t played since the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during week five. As of week nine, he has 266 yards and one touchdown.

This year is Pittman’s first year with the Broncos but his 11th year in the NFL. He played his first four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. From there he played the next six seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His best season so far was in 2004 when he tallied 926 yards rushing and seven touchdowns. That season he also had 391 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. Before being injured, he started three games this season, tallied 320 yards and four touchdowns. Hall started his NFL career on Denver’s practice squad in 2006 after being waived by both Tampa Bay and the Chicago Bears. He spent his college career with South Florida, where he was the school’s all-time leading rusher. Last season, he made the squad and ended up with 216 yards and two touchdowns. So far this season, he tallied 144 rushing yards.

The news could be a lot worse for the Broncos. Although they have struggled in recent weeks, their 4-4 record as of week nine still puts them on top of the AFC West division. Their division opponents they will be up against in the coming weeks are faring just as bad if not worse than the Broncos. With a few wins, they still have a good chance of taking the division. Be there to cheer them on by getting Denver Broncos tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/denver-broncos-tickets/.
